MEDIEVAL ART -  maunche (award for achievement in the arts)

Inspired by the Luttrell Psalter, written and illuminated (illustrated) in England 1345, early in the 14th century for Sir Geoffrey Luttrell of Irnham in Lincolnshire, it is one of the most famous manuscripts in the world on account of the numerous scenes it depicts with elements of pure fantasy mingling with biblical scenes, figures of saints and vignettes of everyday life on its 624 pages.
