MEDIEVAL ART -  tygers combattant (award for armored combat prowess)

Inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, which depitcts the tale of William the Conquerer’s invasion of England in the mid-11th century. Historians believe the panels were completed in England somewhere between 1077-1083.

The modification here of adding a samurai, reflects the dua persona of the recipient.
